★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reconstructed in 2005 (thus not old) but very clean inside. The stairs to the second floor are also clean and well kept. The view is great and inside the pagoda there are lights shafts that make great pictures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most breathtaking sunrises I've ever witnessed was from the top of this temple. The staircase to the roof is closed off, but a modestly fit and adventurous visitor should be able to find a way up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing sunrise spot. The place is a little bit known do expect at least 15 to 20 people but really manageable.
The stairs to get to the top are dedicated to small size. I'm 6'3 and it was a bit of a stretch. Anyway, totally worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best thing that happened to us in Bagan was finding this abandoned pagoda! We had it all for ourselves since there is no path leading to that place. Unique spirit of a pagoda is highlighted by a lonely giant Buddha looking over you in a dusty hall.
Btw. The stairway is locked, but think about the entrance...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, very remote temple a little ways down a dirt road from the Nyaunglaphet Sunset Hill. The isolation of the place makes it a quiet place to escape for a few minutes. Temple is simple, but nonetheless pretty, and a few small stupas and buildings are around. If you're heading towards Sulamuni and Dhammayangyi from Anawrhta Road, this temple is worth a quick detour
