Tastes very good and is cheap. Probably the best restaurant on this street. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein sehr schönes Restaurant, in Reisfeldern gelegen. Super freundlicher Service mit Englischkenntnissen und Erfahrung. Kannte jedes Essen und konnte dazu etwas erklären. Günstige einheimische Preise und eine riesengroße Speisekarte. Alles wird mit sauberem Wasser aus Flaschen gekocht und gewaschen (Eis im Trinken ist somit kein Problem). Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker, und die Portionen sehr gross. Mit 3 Leuten für unter 20 Euro gegessen und getrunken. Nur zu Empfehlen, einfach ein gemütliches Restaurant in Familienbesitz.
A very nice restaurant, located in rice fields. Super friendly service with English skills and experience. Knew every meal and could explain something about it. Cheap local prices and a huge menu. Everything is boiled and washed with clean bottled water (ice in drinking is therefore not a problem). The food was very, very tasty and the portions were very large. Eaten and drank with 3 people for less than 20 euros. Highly recommended, just a cozy family owned restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fairly decent spot for local dishes – a mixture of Burmese and Chinese Burmese dishes, as well as some Rakhine and Thai dishes. Fairly attentive wait staff, and the food is quite fresh too. I'd recommend the Rakhine Kipper Salad, Seaweed Salad (it has similar looks and crunch as the white fungus used in Chinese desserts) and Fish Head Soup. The Prawn Masala Curry is decent but a little heavy handed on the masala. There's no complimentary tea, which is odd for Burma, but at least they serve the beers ice cold in chilled glasses. Do note that the kitchen is quite slow even when diners are sparse and there are a lot of mosquitos around even in the afternoon – we requested a mosquito coil, which helped very marginally. Prices aren't cheap either, given that it's right along the stretch of more upscale resorts. For similar prices without the mosquito problem I prefer Table 5, but I suppose The Holly is a good alternative if you don't want to repeat restaurants.
