★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely recommend a stay here at THU THUS! She and her staff are so helpful and accommodating! They would even bring us hot tea at night before bed and prepare just about anything we wanted to eat the following day! View from the roof is beautiful too! As an added bonus, she is a travel agent so she can arrange just about anything for you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice gueshouse. The owner Mrs. Thu Thu is very nice and helpful person. The rooms are very clean. The Breakfast is really nice. We love their banana pancakes. All trips which we took were good. This Guesthouse is also nice if you just want to chill. Nearly to the place you have massage or restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed two nights with Thu Thu and felt like at home. She is a lovely hostess, has her own travel agency and hence knows all the best tips for what to do and see around Inle Lake. We had plans to travel to Bagan afterwards and had difficulties finding accommodation, since everything was booked for the Full Moon Festival. Thu Thu, however, resolved all these issues, called around and finally organized both the bus and the last free hotel for us. Thanks a lot for that!
The homestay itself is beautiful and lovely decorated. Thu Thu and her team clearly take a lot of care. The room is simple, but very nice and clean. The homestay has a rooftop terrace with a nice view where you can enjoy your breakfast. Tip: Ask Thu Thu for traditional Shan Noodle Soup and Tofu Nway for breakfast. We loved it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thu Thu Guesthouse is Nyaung Shwe's best kept secret. It is a beautiful family owned and run guesthouse complete with a lovely garden, mountain views, and a friendly pet dog and cat. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. You will feel completely at home during your stay. It is centrally located within Nyaung Shwe, making everything an easy walk or bike ride away. Thu Thu also runs a travel agency service and can assist with all elements of your stay from organizing boat trips to the lake, hiring bikes, transportation to and from the airport, to booking your bus and plane tickets to your next destination. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay here during your time in Nyaung Shwe and get the banana pancake/crepe for breakfast. It is divine, as is the honey ginger tea that was delivered to our room each night around 8 p.m. Thu Thu and her team are so kind and helpful; they arranged an excellent boat trip, handled our laundry, and booked our bus tickets (+ transfer to bus station from the guest house). The rooms are simple, cozy, and comfortable -- a welcome distinction from a larger hotel. Lovely to sit outside on the roof deck or just outside the room and enjoy the sunshine & mountain views. Easy walking distance from great Nyaung Shwe restaurants & shops. Unbeatable price for an excellent guest house!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful stay I had at Thu Thu's! The house is in a great location in Nyaung Shwe, making the entire town easily walkable. There is a beautiful garden there, and a rooftop space with tables for breakfast and down time. Thu Thu and her family were amazing hosts, always available to assist. Thu Thu also runs a tour agency, so she was easily able to arrange bikes, trips to the airport, and boat charters. I would absolutely recommend her guest house to any traveler to Nyaung Shwe!

Thu Thu's guest house is the best place to stay in Nyaungshwe. Breakfast is amazing, the garden is beautiful. Beds are comfortable and the everything is perfectly cleaned.
Above and beyond customer service is the true difference here. Everyone was so accommodating and understanding. Thu Thu is also an accomplished travel agent and can help book and suggest for the rest of your trip.
Truely a must stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, and there is a beautiful sheltered garden to make you feel relaxed and at home. A filling and delicious breakfast menu is included, served on the rooftop with great morning views. Couldn’t recommend Thu Thu’s more - we’ll be back!
P.s. This guest house is owned by Thu Thu, who is incredibly helpful, reliable and honest - she helped arranged everything we needed (buses, site seeing, multi-day hikes, laundry etc.) during our stay.
