There are bus routes from the airport to Sule. The air conditioner is cool and comfortable to drive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Frequent bus ply Sule pagoda - Central train station - airport. 500 kyat. It took an hour from Sule to airport.
If peak hours might takes longer time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to take this bus opposite way (from City center to airport). Very bad idea. I was told by locals to wait for the bus on a stop between Shangri-La building and the train station. The bus driver ignored me completly. Did not stop although saw me from traffic lights...
There is no route map to be found anywherhe...
Try the Bus if you have plenty time in Yangoon but not if you need to be in the airport on time.
