★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location The hotel locates in the New Bagan area and it may takes around 15 minutes to transfer by car from the hotel in the Old Bagan. The garden, the swimming pool, the decorations are very nice and gives you a good feeling. Staff were pleasant and helped arrange activities and onward travel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in a room on the ground floor that smelled really badly. The service was good. Located in a remote spot at the checkpoint all trucks transporting people up to Golden Rock pass through continuously from 5am until 6pm. Prices in Bagan are a fair bit more expensive than Yangon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean rooms, there are shared bathrooms on each floor. Toilets and Showers. Separate for men and woman. NO HOT WATER in shower though. Breakfast is very basic: noodles, rice, hotdog, precooked egg, toast w butter and jam, coffee and thea. Good for the price, too bad about the hot water, hence 3 stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't for the poor bar service and rude staff. Best to take a dip in big refreshing pool located in the nicely landscaped garden, which is kind of an exception in Myanmar. I would recommend this hotel to friends any time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a most pleasant stay at this beautifully presented and friendly place. The restaurant served very good food and had a variety of dishes to choose from; Western, Chinese, Myanmar and Thai. Staff are very friendly and certainly try their best to help you with any of the wishes you might have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked bungalows but because they said the Govt shut off some electricity to their grid, they couldnt' give us the bungalows and they put us in a room with a common toilet. They were kind enough to upgrade some of us with some persuasion and they tried to accomodate us where possible. The food served downstairs were decent but the price is a little on the high side considering the rooms had no bathroom/toilet.
On the plus side, they are building a KFC just across the road !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were in the pool quite a bit as it was very hot and the staff did a great job of catering to our large group. The room I stayed in had local art and craft items and was very spacious. It's a quite place and just 10 minutes walking from the restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did not use the pool (too busy actually seeing the sights) but it looked quite attractive. Every room is brand new. Our room was on the ground level, with windows barely a few feet away and the soundproofing was lacking so every morning we were awoken by the noise. Breakfast was good. Great value for what we paid.
