★ ★ ★ ★ ★ +The staff couldn't do enough for you. Beautiful big clean rooms. It is an bit out of the city centre but it is close to the tourist attractions. And there are always taxis of the hotel standing ready.
Breakfast was good, definitely with the beautiful view over the pagoda.
- After a long day we thought, lets take an vegetarian burger at the restaurant in the hotel. It was cheap, but was jus an bun with some salat and mayonaise, together 8 chips (max 2 inches long). What was more funny then upsetting

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean but basic. Only plus is that the staff are very friendly (apart fro restaurant) and trying hard. The best thing about this hotel is that you can see the Swedagon Pagoda from the restaurant and its just a 2000 Kyat away by taxi from a decent fast food chain from Malaysia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is okay as you can walk to to shwedagon pagoda. The room is spacious but spartanic. There were so ***y staff attending to us it was almost laughable as we are not used to having everything done for us by so ***y workers. Central area is much more lively and engaging.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not worth the price charged. I can just congratulate the owner of the hotel for such excellent staff. The location is good if you want to stay close to Shwedagon Paya which is less then 10 minutes walk away. After a 10 days trip across Myanmar we were pleased to stay at this comfortable hotel that I recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, great rate, comfortable rooms. I stayed here in 2011 and 2016. Not much has changed. It is within walking distance to Shwedagon Pagoda, the zoo, and even the city center (if you really like to walk). Otherwise, downtown is only a cheap taxi ride away. It is not the newest or most modern, but it definitely serves its purpose well and the price is fair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the door it says 2 stars, but online places rate it as three. I think it deserves the three. Very large spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast is very nice, more cultural than continental so be prepared to try something new. Staff are so friendly, I mean, I can't begin to tell you how friendly the staff are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally enjoyed our stay at the Glover Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and professional. We were taken care of right from the front door, check in, room service and the restaurant serve delicious meals from breakfast thru to dinner. We had an early departure and they had a breakfast box ready for us of fresh fruit, hard boiled egg and jam sandwich and water at check out and our cab was there waiting. Would stay there if we ever return to Yangon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended!! One year old hotel,view from room on 5th floor was fabulous and even better from rooftop bar and restaurant where breakfast is also served...360 city view!! Close to the Royal Palace and easy to get to from the airport or train station. Staff are superb!! So polite, kind, great service. Price was so reasonable for 5 star service. Rooms are modern spotless with great WiFi and you can get BBC and CNN and some movie channels on TV. Excellent value!!
