★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cottage House is very special. Its nestled near Pindaya Caves and has a wonderful cozy, quiet and family-run feel to it. During some stays, the mix of guests from around the world had us wondering if we were in Myanmar, Europe or beyond. As with any great guest house, it's the people here who really set it apart. They are second to none when it comes to friendliness, attention to detail and local knowledge. And if thats not enough to draw you back for second visit, the spectacular food certainly will! From traditional Burmese to very tasty Thai and French dishes, the food is absolutely amazing! Be sure to save room for the homemade desserts made with fresh local fruit too! As always, we cant wait to get back for our next visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cottage House was a great surprise during my last minute visit to Pindaya: it is a lovely guesthouse, so comfortable that I barely wanted to get out and explore the area. Mia and her family are absolutely amazing hosts and will make you feel at home straight away. Their food is also excellent, so don’t miss the chance to have all your meals there. I stayed in the smaller single room and loved it, the attention to detail means there is everything you need there, and both the bedroom and showers/toilets are sparkling clean. I didn’t see the inside of the nicer rooms with private bathrooms, but they looked very nice.
If you are in the area, definitely pay them a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed staying at cottage house. We just passed through one night on our way to inle but it would be worth staying here a few days. Great base to explore Pindaya or relax on the beautifully designed accommodation. Owner Mya and her family have done a great job in designing and building this guest house.

You can easily go up Pindaya cave around 30min walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great find! Just a short walk to the lake is this relaxing guesthouse. Rooms are basic, but comfortable with big plush duvets on all the beds. The staff were super friendly and we had a great time trading stories with the owner. Great covered patio dining area to mingle with other travelers. Great experience, would return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cozy cottage, beautifully designed in the walking distance to the center of Pindaya (unless you get lost in those tiny streets) managed by lovely staff. Great breakfast and food overall, board games available and internet working so-so, but enough to do remote work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is your small house amid diverse plants of flowering, fruiting and relaxing. Breakfast with simply delicious egg pancakes and toast with butter or home cooked strawberry jam added by omelette will energize you enough. Recommended to do jogging or walk in early morning to Shwe Oo Min Caves of Buddha statues. It's just 20-30 minutes walking distance.
