★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slightly out of the main tourist part of town, but that's also the charm of it. They have free bikes for use to get around town. As of now, no Wi-Fi, but they have a computer for use in the front area, and have plans to get wifi installed. English wasn't great, but good enough. They can help with booking your onward journey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The young guys working here are very friendly and helpful, although their English is limited.
The bathrooms are quite clean.
The big downside is no wi-fi, no TV in room.
Located near a pagoda so you hear buddhist chanting all the time, our room was on the ground floor and other travellers were noisy even early morning (a bit annoying if you're trying to sleep late)
You can rent their bikes for free, but many don't work well (brakes broken etc) or have low availability.
The breakfast is the usual white toasts, fried egg, banana, margarine, jam, packaged myanmar tea/coffee, unlimited bottled water.
They have a clear list of all different buses, destinations. For our Yangon night bus it was cheaper to book here than other travel agencies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service. The room is very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is also very good. The breakfast is delicious and abundant, including avocado, fruits, egg, bread, etc. They have free bikes what is very convenient to go around town and get to the river. All the staff is very friendly. They arranged to us a trip around the Lake in the sunrise and this day the kind man prepared our breakfast very early in the morning. And in the last day they allowed to have late check out until 5pm. Very recommended. It was my favorite hostel in all Myanmar.
