★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best hotels in town, but also the most expensive. Although rooms are quite good and spacious, it's very overpriced for what you get. Rooms start at around 55,000 Kyat up to more than 73,000 Kyat, which is more expensive than the 4-star Centara Mae Sot Hill Resort where you get a huge regularly changing buffet breakfast, conference and meeting facilities, swimming pool, tennis court, fitness centre, bar, 2 gift shops, on-site restaurants and room service. Here you get none of those things! Apart from what looks like a basic breakfast. I would suggest staying at another hotel in Myawaddy (thukkawaddy or hotel 3 stars) or moving onto Hpa-an or Mawlamyine if heading into Myanmar, or Mae Sot if heading into Thailand unless you have no other choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New hotel and the best one so far in town. It is not budget hotel. Close to resturant but not in the heart of down town. Staff at reception are not friendly, no greeting and tell what is the time for breakfast. No smiling face. Maybe because I m local.
Have big meeting room for training and workshop.
Gym is available but no swimming pool.
Wi-Fi is better than others hotel base on my experience. Have elevator.
Breakfast is fair. Smelling of smoking and heard noises from outside when in room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best hotel in town. The rooms look like they have been recently refurbished - although sloppily done. Splattered paint on things, exposed wires, etc. Location is a little ways from the Thai border although there are a few small restaurants nearby.
