★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Hotel, friendly attentive staff . All spoke good English. View of (the top of) Shwedagon Pagoda; 5mins walk away. Pool was quite small but sufficient for a cooling dip at the end of a days sight seeing. Would stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel is quite and near shwedagon pagoda by walk. The room is clean and comfortable. The staffs are good and polite. The airport shuttle (limousine) charges is 35 USD per way for 3 person. The rooftop is good view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at quiet lane yet easy accessible by Grab. 15-minute walk to Shwedagon Pagoda.Room is in good size, all furnitures and flooring are make of teakwood, very comfortable. Breakfast is pretty standard, nothing to shout about. Mini swimming is on rooftop, nice place to view the surrounding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hotel Shwe yee is a great place to stay in Yangon if you find the Downtown area too noisy and busy. It is a few Kilometres from town but about 2500MMK in a Grab. Time shouldn't be too important in Yangon as no one gets anywhere fast. The traffic is a nightmare, and it has the longest traffic signal cycles I've seen anywhere. Anyway back to the hotel, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, the pool is not big but refreshing and with a view of sorts and the rooftop is a great place to have a drink at sunset, or anytime really. I would recommend this hotel highly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice accommodation. Spacious rooms, very clean, very friendly staff, extensive and very tasteful breakfast with both western and asian oriented options. On the rooftop there is a spectacular view on the close by pagoda. The pool is not big, but a good option to enjoy the rooftop view while cooling down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel with superb personnel. Always with a smile a d happy to help. The place has a nice roof top space with a pool, terrace with small pub, gym machines and a local items shop. Breakfasts are amazing and buffets wise. Walking distance to mian pagoda!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked this hotel after reading some good reviews about it, but feel disappointed. When we came back we greeted the staff in the reception but 3 of them just kept chatting in their own language, no one respond to us, not even a smile, and it happened not only once! the water surface of the swimming pool is dirty. The only positive thing is the boy in the top floor bar, always greeted to clients, smiling and polite.
If this hotel wants to claims itself a 3 stars hotel, it still has a long way to go.
