★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Off beaten track and primarily catering to those wanting reprieve from high prices at couple upscale hotels across street. Fish curry outstanding as was tea leaf salad but pass on grilled prawns as disappointing. Very nice dining experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food for a really good price. Homemade couisine, really tasty and fresh. The restaurant looks frugal but there you will find good hearted people. Me and my wife had the chance to talk with the owner who told us about Bagan and gived us some useful informations. He likes to talk a lot but he is really kind. I will definitely come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our favorite place in new Bagan! Great place if you want to enjoy authentic Myanmar food but your partner wants other quality options. Enjoyed some great curries and desert by the candle light and they even had my Diet Coke. We got some trip changing advice on what to do for the rest of our stay and got to hear what military-ruled bagan was really like. All in all, true Myanmar hospitality and experience with amazing food. This place doesn’t get as much business as they deserve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice quiet atmosphere under the shade of some trees. Vegetable rice was good but a bit oily as it seems traditional in Myanmar. They had neither any fruit juices nor desserts although they were listed on the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ate at this brilliant restaurant a few times. The spring rolls and fish cake salad were excellent. The curries and other salads we had were excellent too. We were always offered a complimentary fruit plate after our meal which was lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since the ratings were so high and NIghtingale's is so close to our hotel, we walked over for lunch. It is truly excellent food. I imagine everything is good on the menu, but we enjoyed the Myanmar dishes of Irrawaddy River Fish Curry and Chicken Salad, since the Pennywort Salad and Tea Leaf Salad were sold-out. And of course Myanmar Beer! It was all beautifully cooked, with great flavor. The server and chef is a lovely woman. And sitting outside in the front made for a calm and peaceful afternoon. I highly recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It locates near Bawga Theiddhi hotel, 1 min walk from there. We almost passed over because of its underwhelming number of review but don't get tricked by that. We were amazed by the quality and freshness of the food. The owner and staff are beyond great.
