★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The way to this beach is so tough. Less direct bus from Yangon to Nga Yoke Kaung village. The cost of direct bus from Yangon to Nga Yoke Kaung is 20000 MMK in the peak season of Thingyan. As there is curfew from 12:00 midnight to 4:00 am, Our bus stop at the Pathein Bus station from 11:30 pm till morning 4:00 am. The bus stop for breakfast at a village about 7:00 am. Then drive an hour to arrived Nga Yoje Kaung Village. Nga Yoke Kaung Village bus stop is the last stop to here and to Gorriyan Gyi Island. (Suggest to take a day bus to Pathein and Pathein to Nga Yoke Kaung Village.) Again we has to take the motor bike from Nga Yoke Kaung Village bus stop to this resort.
Despite the rough road, the beach is five stars, just like staying in a private island. Since here is no alternative hotel, this local resort is the best. Don’t expect five stars service. It’s totally like home sweet home. The owners couples are very warmly.
