★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Resort is one of the best places we have been to! Seriously, however we decided to deduct a star for three minor points:
- the bicycles are in a horrible state of repair. We tried a total of 6, 2 of which were acceptable. We asked multiple times for repair and nothing happened.
- The bed was supremely squeaky
- The exchange rate if you want to pay in Kyat is an absolute rip-off (in our case it made a difference in F&B only of nearly 10000 kyat; 1,600 MMK to USD instead of 1,500)
However, the beach is fantastic, the pool great, the food very good and the breakfast also. Go ahead and book it, enjoy the nicely decorated and super spacious bungalows, the very nice service (coconut in the beach...) and the sunset view over the deep blue infinity pool. we just wanted to get the hotel managers attention.
