★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bungalows are brand new and by far the best in this village. It's cheap, beautiful and comfortable, right in front of the beach with a fresh breeze. Plus the owner is a known and respected fisherman in the area, and the whole family is funny and generous. They welcomed me as their own and I got to meet a lot of people. I felt very lucky to have found this special place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place! Probably the best hospitality I've come across in what is a really hospitable country.
Although the accomodation is a far cry from hotel resorts further north at Ngapali, it deserves 5 stars for its location, price and comfort. No Aircon, no hot shower but very comfortable bed, clean bathroom, plenty of space and unbelievably great family that are so helpful.
This is the place to see real Myanmar coastal life without the flashy resorts and prices, a place to relax, swim and take in a truly magnificent, unspoilt beach. Be warned though, there are no ATMs and no late nights so bring cash and a book. Also no bike hire that I can find but the owner of this guest house offered me his bike without me asking and refused to take any money for it.
If you want a true feel of local beach life in Myanmar then I haven't found a better place.
