★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fresh breeze through the river , the exotic view of mountains and the charming of sunset, all of that is what you can experience from the Pagoda. I recommend to visit there at evening times. Most of the tourists come this Pagoda and feel the sunset with sunglass. So don't forget to bring sunglass to feel the best. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think one guy at some point in history said this was a good place to watch the sunset, and so it has been reprinted by everyone else without ever really been questioned. This pagoda is at ground level, and so watching the sunset means watching it set behind the hills west of the city, long before reaching the true horizon line, so it's not really that great to begin with. Aside from this, the pagoda doesn't really offer anything to look at, other than some small statues (frog and dragon) that supposedly relate to the founding of the city.
