Wine Wine Lae is not bad for this small and isolated city. Nothing fancy and rooms are quite old , but staffs and owner are very friendly and helpful.
It's in downtown and easy to access local market and restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are only 2 hotels open to foreigners in this town, the other one being 50,000 kyat per night as at February 2020. This place is 25,000 for a room with a private bathroom and I think 20,000 with a shared one. It’s basic, with a bit of damp on the walls, but it did the job. No breakfast included, which is pretty unusual for hotels in Myanmar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think that I was given the best room of the hotel at 30,000 kyats, compared with the others that I saw. Large room, hot tube, nice view, but no breakfast. No AC but you don't need. The window in the toilet is broken so it's pretty cold in January at night. So it's too expensive for what it is but there isn't so much choice in the village.
